The Aspo Plc Board today approved proposal to lease its headquarters building located in Helsinki's Herttoniemi district. The decision involves a long-term lease of the facilities.

The agreement calls for the entire property to be leased to the Rautaruukki Group for at least 10 years starting from the beginning of 2004. At the same meeting the Board decided to initiate the divestiture of the property.

These measures are part of the company's ongoing efforts to improve its investment yields and focus financial resources on the development of Aspo's core operational activities - logistical services for industrial companies.
