ASPO GROUP'S LEIPURIN LTD EXPANDS OPERATIONS TO UKRAINE

Leipurin Ltd, part of Aspo Group, has expanded its operations to Ukraine, with a new unit being established in Kiev. Leipurin has also recently opened new offices in Novosibirsk and Kazan in Russia.
"Leipurin is a growing and rapidly internationalizing Group. In addition to Russia, we now seek additional growth in Ukraine. Our objective is to achieve a significant position as a supplier in the bakery industry and as an important partner for the local foods industry," says Aki Ojanen, CEO of Aspo Plc.

Test bakeries as part of the Leipurin concept
In St. Petersburg, the test bakery of Leipurin is located in the facilities of the University of St. Petersburg and is a center for product development and training. In Russia, another test bakery is also being planned for Novosibirsk in Siberia.
The new test bakery in Warsaw, Poland, has also been launched as part of the project of introducing the Leipurin concept of consultative sales in the country.
"We are also planning the launch of test bakery operations in Kiev, where we are reviewing the opportunities for opening a test bakery in connection with the National Agricultural University of Ukraine," says Matti Väänänen.
